Motivity

Motivity is a Honolulu-based clinical SaaS company founded in 2012 that provides an all-in-one platform for Applied Behavior Analysis providers. The platform integrates electronic data collection, session scheduling, billing, revenue cycle management, and staff credentialing within a single system designed for clinical effectiveness.

Motivity serves more than 550 organizations across seven countries, supporting Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and clinical administrators. The company is notable for being the only ABA data collection platform funded through research grants—developed with over $11 million in National Institutes of Health Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grants—requiring the company to demonstrate clinical impact through ongoing clinical trials.

The platform is built on hospital-grade infrastructure with 99.9% uptime and runs across phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. Motivity includes over 130 features for clinical workflows, including ConCred by Motivity, a credentialing module that centralizes staff licenses, credentials, and payor agreements. The platform also supports practitioners in occupational therapy and speech-language pathology in addition to ABA.

In March 2025, Motivity announced a $27 million growth investment from Five Elms Capital to accelerate product innovation, expand its team, and strengthen support for ABA providers worldwide. The company was founded by Rex Jakobovits, PhD, who previously built and sold Vivalog Technologies to McKesson in 2008. Following the investment, Jakobovits transitioned to Chief of Strategy and Innovation, and Smith Anderson joined as CEO.
