How Easterseals Midwest works.

Easterseals Midwest is a leading nonprofit disability services organization headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, providing comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and developmental support programs across three states.

The organization operates 12 ABA clinic locations across Missouri in St. Louis, Springfield, Cape Girardeau, Columbia, and Kansas City, employing Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and behavior technicians to deliver personalized, evidence-based intervention. Services are delivered through center-based clinic settings, in-home coaching, and school-based consultation, with a focus on play-based learning that helps children with autism improve communication, develop social skills, establish daily routines, and manage challenging behaviors.

Easterseals Midwest serves more than 23,000 individuals and families annually across Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri through disability programs, employment services, health initiatives, and community support. Very helpful for my son to be able to socialize with other high functioning Autistic teenagers, and receive other helpful services. Everyone is very nice, also. I highly recommend.

Just a little over a month ago, my family and I was a part of Easter Seals Midwest on-site parent training. We have two children with an autism diagnosis and prior to attending the training I felt like we were just getting by the best we knew how and reality of the situation is when you know better, you do better! My family was fortunate enough to learn new skills that has made trying new things with the kiddos easier and more fun. This program wouldn’t have been the same without our family’s trainer, Anna! Her work ethic is TRULY UNMATCHED! Words will never fully describe how awesome she was to us and our children. She is gifted with skills, knowledge, passion and patience that can not be taught! We wanted to thank Easter Seals Midwest for making a difference in our lives! Special thanks to Anna for simply being heaven sent and being a true rockstar! I’ve just finished the parent training with my counselor. She is such a nice lady. They provide the information in slices, which helped me build up a knowledge system. I’ve got to understand how is my son feeling when he’s in trouble. In this way , I could be more clam and patient, and my son is more happy to stay with me.

My daughter has autism and the Easter Seals autism consultant has provided behavior modifications to increase her ability to self regulate i.e.calm down and other techniques to improve her daily life. She has learned planning skills and making good choices which make everyone happy. This has given all of us a better life. The changes have been very significant. Thanks go to Kris!
