I hope Christine, or Christina doesn't work here anymore. She was such a terrible therapist. I brought up a weird memory that came back to me suddenly when I was about 20. When I was going to this therapist I was 25ish. I told her about my aunt thinking someone was touching me inappropriately when I was little. And what does this psycho do? She calls the cops and REPORTS IT. No proof of something purely speculated. Thank god the cops called me before going to ARREST MY FATHER AT WORK. And I never trusted therapists again. I used to work in healthcare too, I know when they are supposed to report abuse and all that. This was NOT one of those circumstances. And now because of this event, I no longer trust therapists and have been unable to seek further help with CPTSD. Should I request my file and post it up here to prove it? I will if this post gets 100 likes :D
After 20.5 years as a part-time Mobile Therapist and 3 years as a TSS since 1997 with about 99% of weekly-hour completion, I have unfortunately come to realize that "Corporate" YAP, Inc only cares about the number of service hours fulfilled and the agency red-tape. In fact, this is one of the few businesses and non-profits that refuses to participate/save with direct deposit; yet, now expects all staff to complete client progress notes "electronically" during the session and waste real therapy time to save a mere $13.00 an hour to avoid non-billables, whether families agree or not. Although my local Adams director asked both Regional Dir. Bob Swanson and VP Jessica Carlton for 2 additional months to wrap-up my client treatment plans, they don't seem to value long-standing YAP employees nor having a smooth transition of care for families. Thus, I am resigning because YAP, Inc apparently values dollars over sense and corporate policies/procedures over families.
This place is amazing!!! They have saved many through the hard work and patience and kindness they give. I get therapy once a week and see a psychiatrist once a month. Their the best
This place is a life saver. I went to seek therapy during the pandemic and I couldnt have been more pleased with my therapist. I would recommend this facility to adoloscents and growups. They will go above and beyond to find out what you need and assist you on getting on the right track. I thank them for my happiness and mental stability. They truly are part of your support network .
A wonderful staff so far, my kids are doing much better. Staff is always nice and professional. I love catching some air while my kids do their time with staff. The parking lot is horribly tight, but despite that its a very good service to try. I recommend to give it a try . They accept most health insurance and calling in is quite easy. You dont have to deal with automated answering. They also do live person call reminders which i think is best for most people to hear a person rather than a robot.
