The Kalamazoo Autism Center, the primary service delivery program, serves children and young adults ages 2-21 with autism and developmental disabilities. Founded in 2008 and expanded to its current location in 2016, the center accepts multiple insurance plans including Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Aetna, and Medicaid, as well as private pay options. Services are delivered across three modalities: center-based therapy, home-based interventions, and school-based consultation.
Beyond direct clinical services, WMU-ACE operates specialized programs for older youth and young adults. WMU-ACE is housed within Western Michigan University's College of Arts and Sciences, allowing behavior technicians to integrate academic knowledge of behavior analysis with direct clinical practice.

My son attended the autism center for 2 years. During that time I cannot recall one issue with the Kalamazoo Autism Center. This was the most seamless process all the way through. When starting at the center my son was almost completely non verbal and unable to communicate his needs. In the last couple weeks he transitioned to School and if it wasn't for him attending the KAC, I know he would not be at the level he is now. The KAC worked extremely hard with him even during their strict regulations due to COVID and every tech, BCBA, and staff member that my son encountered while he was there truly cared and loved him. Adam, Ali, and Jessica truly do a wonderful job making this center the best it could be and I will forever be thankful for them giving my son his voice.
After being told many times I would be contacted within a week (2 months later) I decided to part ways with trying to enroll my child I was never contacted by anyone and was just given unmeaningfull apologies
Exceptional!
