That is the worst hospital I ever been too. The night triage nurse the old white lady with long dark hair was very rude an unprofessional. The nurses were not nice either. The doc never gave a diagnoses he did prescribe medicine. When I went to get the prescription filled another doctor from another hospital said was too m uch for a young child so he called TCH to speak with the doctor who prescribed medication and that doctor got mad an frustrated an did not want to explain the diagnoses or why he would prescribe so much medicine to a child. So glad I went to see a different doctor different hospital he took way better care of us than texas chilrens hospital. I would not recommend this hospital for no adult or child. 1 to 10 I rate them 0. UNPROFESSIONAL AND BE CAREFUL OF THE MEDICINE GIVEN AN PRESCIBED. DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY PARENT AN CHILD TO GO TO TEXAS CHILRENS HOSPITAL.

I am truly disappointed that I even have to leave this review because I genuinely love Texas Children’s, but my frustration regarding my son’s care is being completely overlooked. The Pulmonology Department has been extremely frustrating to deal with. I have been trying to get my son seen for his asthma since June, and I still have not been able to get an appointment. I have called four times trying to get him scheduled. I spoke with the Department Manager , and she instructed me to go through a specific process. I followed her instructions exactly, only for the scheduling department to tell me they could not schedule him because the doctor I requested was not showing in their system and was not on the doctor’s schedule. The problem is, I found this doctor directly on the Texas Children’s website. At this point, I don’t understand how I can continuously advocate for my child and still not get the care he needs. I have also had several frustrating interactions through MyChart with RN Michelle, where it feels like the focus has been on arguing with me rather than actually helping resolve the issue and getting my child seen. This is not about me trying to be difficult. This is about my child’s asthma and making sure he receives appropriate care. I should not have to repeatedly call, explain myself, and fight this hard just to get an appointment with Pulmonology. I love Texas Children’s and have trusted them with my children’s care, which is why this experience is so disappointing. I sincerely hope someone in leadership takes this seriously and looks into what is happening with the Pulmonology Department because parents should not have to fight this hard to get their child the care they need.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Texas Children’s Hospital. From the moment we arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make sure my infant son was safe, comfortable, and well cared for prior to his surgery. Every staff member we encountered was kind, patient, and incredibly attentive—not just to my son, but to me as well during such an emotional time. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt reassured every step of the way. The level of professionalism, compassion, and dedication truly stood out. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I am so grateful for the care my son received. Thank you for treating him like your own and making a stressful situation so much easier for our family. WAY TO GO TEXAS CHILDREN’S KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL WORK 🥳!!

The nurses and doctors who took care of Karson were absolutely amazing! They were so patient and friendly, walking us through every step and process. They even went above and beyond, rewarding Karson every time they did something for him. The ladies who did the X-rays and checked his vitals were wonderful too. Despite the long wait, the overall visit was great, and we were comfortable with snacks and warm blankets while we waited.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Turner, Nurse Katie, and Angelica from guest services for their incredible support during our visit to the ER. They truly made what could have been a frightening experience much more manageable. Their warm welcome and caring demeanor helped my little one feel more at ease in this intimidating environment. I genuinely appreciate the thorough information provided and the expertise of the surgeons. I am so thankful for such a compassionate team. As we prepare for a small surgery soon, I feel reassured and hopeful, trusting that we will be fine with God's grace. Bless this amazing staff for all they do, and may they have a wonderful day ahead. Very clean environment
