My name is Sally Baldeh and my 8year old son Scubi had dental surgery today at Franciscan Children Hospital. I would like to write a sincere review about my experience with Dr. Sacheti and her entire dental care team. Which includes Dr. Kendrick Skye - Anesthesia Team, Brianna - pre op nurse, Eddie - OR nurse, Leslie - Recovery nurse, Gademia - Dental Assistant, Julia and Natalia - Child lite specialists. I was anxious about Scubi going under anesthesia because he is young and never had any major surgery before. But both Dr Sacheti and Dr Kendrick talk me through the whole process and answer all my questions. I felt reassured and comfortable that my son is in good hands. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating to me and my son. We had an amazing experience with all the nurses!! They provided stickers and toys for Scubi which he loved and had his arms covered with stickers. They also provided popsicles for Scubi after surgery and he was able to eat and drink apple juice. The surgery went very well!! I would give it a 5 stars and beyond!!! Thank you Dr. Sacheti for scheduling to us right away for surgery and taking care of Scubi teeth !! Thank you Dr. Kendrick Skye!! For your wonderful work with Anesthesia. Thank you Brianna, Eddie, Gademia for your welcoming smile and answering any questions we had. Thank you Julia and Natalia for providing the mask and stickers for Scubi to play with. Thank you Leslie for taking care of Scubi when he woke up and for pushing Scubi wheelchair all the way to the parking lot. I would like to say thank you for the security guard who helped us find the right floor when we got the hospital but through the wrong entrance!!
My son was there for 6+ months and he was always treated so well. All the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapist, and staff are amazing! And a special thank you to child life who does a wonderful job. My son is thriving and I’ll always be grateful to Franciscans team!
I went to the CBAT and had a great time. I told Storys and made a lot of friends along the way. The food wasn’t great but the experience was. CBAT is a little bit strict but you get used to it. And when I went on pass I found this conveyor belt sushi place called kura. I would recommend that too. We watched movies every night and did fun crafts. But if you get room 1 there is writings on the wall and putty on the window sill. I tried to peel off as much putty as I could and for the writing I covered it up with crafts. And every Thursday we had asl club and bingo. I had a blast at CBAT and even learned some new skills unrelated to mental health. We did do mental health skills too. Also Giovanni is W and if you see him convince him to get the low checkered fade
Taking my daughter in for her procedure was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do as a parent, but the entire team made the experience so much better. The young lady at the front desk was welcoming and kind from the very start. The nurses who prepared us for the OR were not only friendly, but also so child-oriented, making sure my daughter felt comfortable. The staff were knowledgeable and very comforting, and I really appreciated that they checked in with me throughout the process to let me know how she was doing and what would happen next. It was an emotional experience for me, but Christina, one of the amazing nurses, went out of her way to support me through it. Because of their care, I felt my daughter was in good hands the whole time. I’m so grateful for the compassion and professionalism of everyone we encountered
Our kid had his dental procedures done under general anesthesia at Franciscan recently. Olivia the nurse was very kind, giving him toys, showing him photos of the operating room. She explained everything to us and walked us to wherever we needed to go, including to the parking lot when we were done.
