I was here for an entire year when I was younger, from July of 2012 to July of 2013, during that time I had gotten bullied not just by kids but also by staff members. Yes you heard that right GROWM ADULTS!!!!!! On top of that they show A Lot of favoritism towards other clients, a staff member even had what we called " The favorites table" i will say the worst thing that happened there was a kid had his arm broken by the staff, they sent him to the hospital, got his arm in a cast, then his mother brought him back, and 3 weeks later, they broke it again!!!!! They don't care about the kids, they don't care about their jobs, and they certainly don't care about the families who are asking for help, please do not send your kids here

Idk how I feel about this place wss here in 2021/2022 due to dcs placement there was good staff who genuinely cared who gives in 2 stars. Some abuse the restraints are excessive and a lot fights and noise very overwhelming not understanding of trauma or autism or mental health.i felt very misunderstood a lot of bullying.

I want to start this review with I am very well aware of the fact that the youth who are treated here are not there for singing too loudly in the church choir on Sunday morning. They are there due to their mental and behavioral health needs. With that said, many of the staff members take advantage of that and keep the mindset of "no one will believe you because you're here." When the kids are threatened with being cut off from their families if they tell anyone what they saw when another patient died, there's a problem. When male staff members look at female patients and say "I don't care," when told that they're physically hurting them, there's a problem. When patients are there for months on end before a single staff member reaches out to a parent, there's a problem. The staff lie so frequently that they cannot keep their lies straight. At 2pm, a child is deemed to be such a danger to themselves and others that they cannot transport for a court appearance......but a mere 2 hours later, that child is "doing phenomenally" and "so well" that they refuse to do a crisis call for the SI that the child is stating. They routinely engage in activities that violate patient rights, including denying access to legal counsel. The staff refuse to allow CASA workers on calls to act as an advocate on behalf of the children. They refuse to acknowledge any of their shortcomings. These are not rumors or myths that are floating around the internet. These are the real life experiences that I had as a parent of a child there.

I'm honestly not sure where all the good reviews on here has come from but I urge everyone to please stay far away from this place! This place will call DCS on you if you need assistance of any sort. I went to these people for extra support for my daughter and possibly looking into their therapy service. We were assigned with a case worker name Misha Cummings. I thought that she understood the situation and I was feeling better that my daughter was getting the help that she needed. I was wrong. I look around and DCS is at my door. I didn't even have to ask who did it. I put two and two together and knew that it was her. I was so shocked and hurt that she would do this. The case was closed as it should be. I honestly felt sorry for the gentleman having to make the trip over nonsense that didn't even needed to involve DCS but the case manager, Misha could've made the trip to our home. That was very low on her part and you know that they say about karma. But now it has an effect on me and my family especially my daughter. Shes now feeling like everything is her fault and fears that DCS will take her away. I'm telling constantly that that is not going to happen! So please don't ever contact them otherwise DCS will be at your door.
