We are in February of 2026 and the staff not wearing masks wants to go ahead and state that a family with both parents are not allowed to enter because of COVID. We are very well past that and the fact the staff wants the family to wait in their car or outside is ridiculous in Arizona weather and use their car for air to use more gas in the high gas prices of today. Just because you have a sign and policy does not mean anything in my opinion. You should not refuse parents for their children seeing a Dr for emergency visits. This place has always been horrible with long long wait times and low staff and staff who seems to be very rude. Don't go to this place and management please re evaluate your staff and the way they talk to people. Also to note this is something that is impacted during the winter time and it is not winter we are in spring. For this to apply and continue to go on should not be allowed and be lifted if we are in different seasons.

Lack of any integrity this time around with my disabled granddaughter who is also diabetic . The head of the floor of endocrinology immediately got offended when her PopPop and I called wanting information and we weren’t super sweet as we were concerned grandparents whom are in our granddaughters daily life but have to work still to keep a roof over our heads so we could not drive the 4 hour trip there immediately. She told us we needed a pin , we weren’t happy about that but we got my kids to ask for the pin as they had not been given a pin at this time as of yet . Otherwise I would have already had the pin . So I called back with the pin just to be told by her again that if we wanted any information we would have to get it from the two guardians in her room with orange bands on. My kids don’t hesitate to give me any information I want but I don’t want to constantly burden them as my daughter is autistic and my son in law has to stay right by my granddaughters bed because she can’t walk or anything but she can pull herself around and crawl a bit at 2.5 yrs old and it’s a regular adult hospital bed she’s been in for 3 days so she will fall out if they leave her side . This has been the worst experience than ever before . I cannot believe the incompetence and disregard of medical etiquette there in the weekend staff . But it’s par for the course these days I guess .. I had hoped a Children's hospital would do better

This was our second time being transported to this facility for my baby’s medical care. During our first stay, the team demonstrated compassion and professionalism. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was the complete opposite and left me feeling unsafe, dismissed, and deeply distressed. Immediately upon discharge, I informed staff that my husband was still approximately 2.5 hours away and that I had no stroller, car seat, or assistance to carry my sick infant and our belongings. Despite this, we were removed from the room and taken to a waiting area. My baby still had a fever at that time and had only just recovered from RSV while actively battling the flu. I was specifically instructed not to dress him fully due to the fever, yet he was escorted into the waiting area in only a diaper, exposed to other passing sick patients. What was most disturbing was the apparent lack of empathy from some staff members. As I was being escorted out, another nurse audibly mumbled “thank you” to the staff member walking us out while smiling, as though relieved we were finally out of the room, as if I were being difficult for expressing concern about my infant’s safety and lack of transportation. This interaction felt dismissive, unprofessional, and dehumanizing during an already vulnerable moment. We remained in the waiting area for approximately an hour, standing with my sick infant and belongings, without support or guidance. It was only after another staff member noticed our situation and intervened that we were placed back into a room. I am extremely grateful for her compassion, as she was the only person who acknowledged the seriousness of our situation. I understand that hospitals face capacity pressures; however, removing a mother and febrile infant without transportation, support, or proper discharge planning is not only inconsiderate — it raises concerns about patient safety and appropriate discharge practices.

had an incredible experience with my son’s hematology/oncology doctor, Dr. Mona Nourani. She was truly amazing! empathetic, patient, and so validating of every concern I shared. She never made me feel uncomfortable or like my questions were out of the ordinary; instead, she reassured me and took the time to explain everything clearly. She showed such genuine care and affection toward my three-year-old son, and it was obvious she truly loves working with children. She also connected with me as a mother, showing both empathy and understanding during a very overwhelming time. She was thorough and supportive, going over all the testing, next steps, procedures, and his full plan of care during the visit without ever making us feel rushed. I am extremely grateful for the kindness, compassion, and professionalism that Dr. Mona Nourani demonstrated, and I feel confident knowing my son is in such caring hands.

Brought in my daughter for an appointment with the dermatologist here at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Karla, Jordan and Amanda in Clinic F on the second floor were very sweet to my family and I during our visit and were really warm and friendly with my daughter and son. They answered all of mine and my wife’s concerns and were very thorough and professional through the whole experience. Thank you for taking such good care of my family! I also appreciate them acting so urgently to get us to through this process for my daughter so she can get the care she needs as fast and safe as possible. I love this hospital and highly recommend it with at least 10 stars if I could!! Two years ago, I had my son‘s tonsils removed at this very clinic as well. It’s always been a great experience. Thank you for the Minnie Mouse Duck Karla my daughter loves it!
