Their recent update removed all historical time card data. They actually removed my time card, while I was looking at it, 3 days prior to pay day. Very suspicious. Terrible business. Disrespectful to their users. Fascinating that they don’t have a system for filing complaints. I think I’ll look them up at BBB.

Paylocity over promises on what service they offer. Makes mistakes when submitting taxes to the state, refuses to acknowledge their mistakes. Has the worst customer service. Going on 1 year now to get them to resolve issues with mishandled tax filings with the state.

Did you know that when you clock in, Paylocity likes to round down by 6 minutes? So you're working for free. Their employee portal is garbage, the check calculator doesn't work and no way to see direct deposits or upcoming checks. All of the instruction that are supposed to work to show these things, don't. Also, zero employee support. My employer was a dirtbag who couldn't figure out how to approve the direct deposit info I entered, and I couldn't talk to anyone at Paylocity, so it was never approved and the paper checks were late, so I had to pay $40 in late fees for bills. Paylocity is AWFUL.

This company lies to your employer about the ease of their FSA card program. This is the first year my employer switched from our previous FSA provider to Paylocity. I had a transaction that was needing a receipt for records. I uploaded the receipt and a few days later they are requesting an additional receipt. They do not specify that they are needing an itemized report or EOB, it just says “additional receipt”, so I provide them another receipt thinking it may not have been legible. Apparently since the receipt did not have the date of transaction (my fault I thought I provided the entire receipt and I did not), they deny the claim and lock my card without warning until AFTER the fact via email. When calling them to find out why my card was locked, I waited an hour and a half to speak to a representative, and he explains that the card was locked and will be unlocked after my payment goes through. Then he proceeds to tell me that ANOTHER one of my receipts was not sufficient enough because it was the slip that came from the doctor’s office for a copay. This has always been what I have provided to other FSA cards and have never been questioned for an itemized receipt. It has my name, the doctor, the date of service, the card used, and the amount tendered. But since it does not say what my visit/charge was, it just says debit, they are wanting an itemized statement that has diagnosis codes which I feel is none of their business, or an EOB, which again has diagnosis codes that I feel is none of their business to show that the transaction is for a doctors office copay. They then tell my employer that they give the employee 2 weeks to provide them what they need before they resort to locking the card, which is not true at all. The claim that locked my card was processed on 01/04, the additional receipt request was on 01/08, and the notification that my card was suspended was sent on 01/11. That’s not 2 weeks. If we need to provide EOB’s and Itemized statements there’s a strong possibility that you are not going to be able to provide that within 2 weeks as it’s at the discretion of your medical insurance and how quickly they process their claims. This is now telling me that I’m not going to be able to use this card at my doctors office because that is what is provided to me at time of service, and they won’t give me appropriate time to respond before locking my card. Stop lying to employers about the ease of your services, and stop lying to employees that you give enough notice and time to respond before locking their cards because you don’t.

As far as payroll goes, I guess it does what I need it to do. Custom service level 1 is great, but anything above that is nonsense. I had to call 30 times before a manager was able to speak to me. The software is difficult to use. I was writing this review while waiting for a manager, it's been over 55 minutes and they still have me on hold, horrible. *Update: it's been 1:20 minutes and they still have me on hold. Go with a different provider.
