We use Deputy on a large scale to manage employees across multiple locations. While Deputy may work for a small “mom and pop” business, it falls very short when used at a larger corporate scale. The system is slow, unreliable, and frequently creates scheduling issues. We have experienced duplicated shifts, shifts copying incorrectly, shifts not copying at all, random errors, and system crashes. These issues create real operational problems when managing a large team. Unfortunately, working with support has also been disappointing. Instead of meaningful resolution, the responses have been dismissive and unhelpful. | Deputy presents itself as a modern tech company with a fun and happy culture, but from a customer perspective, the actual product and support experience do not match that image. The system simply does not deliver reliably enough for larger-scale scheduling needs. If you are managing a sizeable team across multiple locations, I would strongly caution against using Deputy. Stay away — you have been warned.

I am beginning to absolutely HATE this company!!! I bet you one million dollars they don't use their own software to manage their employees. It's horribly counterintuitive and plain old nonsensical at times. You will work way harder going through this software, and you WILL have financial waste if you use their timeclock and timesheet features. It didn't used to be so bad, but it's goofy-bad now. They have removed live support and keep increasing costs for glitchy added software features that no one asked for and you CANT turn off. 1/1/24 cannot get here fast enough 😫
