One of the worst companies to work with. They will continue to call and attempt to sell you products and services when in fact the ones they currently offer do no work!! Zero help with e-statements when there appeared to be a DNS issue. Custom formatting on e-statements appears one way when drafted, but the BillFlash software will overwrite it and make the body of the email look unprofessional and spam-worthy. They will gladly charge you a MANDATORY support fee each month, but they can't even support the services they offer right now.

We had an extremely damaging experience with BillFlash that has significantly hurt our business and patient relationships. Without any prior notice or consent, BillFlash engaged a new third-party collections agency that retroactively reactivated accounts dating back over five years. This agency then mailed threatening collections letters to over 2,700 of our patients, creating a flood of confusion, outrage, and reputational damage for our practice. We had 4 of our customers threaten legal action against our practice due to their extreme discontent. We were blindsided, as there had been zero communication or approval sought from us before this was done. When we contacted BillFlash to address the issue, their response was dismissive and unapologetic. Instead of acknowledging the harm caused or working with us to correct the situation, they doubled down—blaming us for having these accounts in collections, ignoring the fact that we had not authorized any outreach to the old accounts. We requested that they send apology letters by mail to affected patients (the same medium used to send the original threats), but they refused—citing postage costs of $2,300 as the reason. Instead, they sent a text message we did not request, which they repeatedly told us was valued at $800 (is that a commonplace way a company should assist a struggling client - reminding them of the monetary value of their actions?). After that text message went out, patients called back in asking if this was a scam and repeating their request for a mailed correspondence. BillFlash’s failure to communicate, accept responsibility, or act in a way that prioritized patient trust and client collaboration has been inexcusable. Multiple levels of company management was involved in this fiasco and they were united in their attitude of shifting responsibility to us, their client. BillFlash's mishandling of this situation and unwillingness to make it right should serve as a warning to any healthcare practice considering them as a billing partner. We can no longer recommend BillFlash and have discontinued our relationship.
