Drove over 7 hours to see the urologist specialist and was so dismissive of my child’s needs and didn’t hear anything I had to say about my own child. It was supposed to be a confirmed surgery appointment and got a 5 minute pep talk about juice and said the surgery wasn’t needed when it was confirmed by our doctor it was. I would rate a 0 if possible. Don’t even waste your time coming here. Could’ve drove down the street for that “check up”
Thank you all team from ❤️ELLAHI KAUR KAHLON ❤️Chia,Sandy,Payton,Denial ,Barbara I would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Valley Children’s Hospital for providing the best baby care we could have ever hoped for. From the moment we arrived, the doctors, nurses, and support staff showed incredible compassion, professionalism, and dedication. They treated our baby with such gentleness and attention, making us feel confident and reassured during a very emotional time. The medical team explained every procedure clearly and kept us informed at each step. The nurses were especially kind, patient, and always ready to help, no matter the time of day. Their warmth and caring nature truly made a difference in our experience. The hospital environment was clean, safe, and very child-friendly, which gave us even more peace of mind. We are deeply grateful for the outstanding care, quick response, and genuine concern shown by everyone at Valley Children’s Hospital. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to giving every child the best possible care. We will always remember the kindness and support we received.
Our family has been living in the hospital while my daughter has been in the PICU, and I want to start by recognizing the day staff, who have been absolutely amazing. They come to work with genuine compassion and heart — not just for a paycheck, but truly to help others. Their care, knowledge, and kindness have made an incredibly difficult situation more manageable for our family. I especially want to give a heartfelt thank you and shout-out to Emily, Ne’tejah, Forest, and everyone on the day shift in the PICU. You have gone above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable, and thank you for taking such wonderful care of my beautiful baby girl. We will never forget the love and dedication you showed her. Unfortunately, our experience with the night staff has been very different. Many of the nurses appear to be new and lacked the knowledge and confidence needed in a critical care unit like the PICU. This caused added stress during an already terrifying time for our family. That being said, Miss Gina deserves special recognition. She has been absolutely amazing the two nights we had her. Her professionalism, experience, and compassion truly stood out, and she made us feel safe and supported when we needed it most. Overall, the day staff and a few exceptional night nurses have been a blessing to our family during one of the hardest times of our lives. Thank you to those who showed up with heart, patience, and true dedication to caring for my child.
My daughter was admitted after a night in the ER. The ER nurses were unprofessional, moody, and rude. It made the whole experience 10x worse. Once we got admitted, the level of care was top tier. The first 12 hours we had a traveling nurse named Jaime. She was phenomenal!! Then came Shannon- lacked training, no communication skills, and had zero empathy. Then came Anne- huge relief! She made me forget Shannon- until the next day when she came back. She clearly hates her job. It made the day drag and every interaction with her was miserable. Every Dr is on a different page. They tell you one thing then do another. The whole experience sucked except for Jaime and Anne. My daughter had to scream at 1 nurse to stop choking her. She begged me to take her home because they were “torturing” her. It’s bad enough when you’re sick and in pain- the nurses didn’t help with their moods and lack of care. -100/10
Finally found a E.N.T. for my 13 year old daughter that would actually listen to us when we were concerned with how swollen her tonsils were. At there worst, her airway was probably 90% blocked and was at the point that she was choking when she would eat. The nurses and doctors that took care of us were amazing. Made us feel very comfortable and not nervous. Dr. Rowe is an amazing doctor/surgeon. Loved all of the staff. By the time it was all said and done, it didn't even matter that we have to drive an hour and a half to get there.
