Easterseals Bay Area

Easterseals Northern California, formerly known as Easterseals Bay Area, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliate of the national Easterseals organization that has served communities since 1927. The organization provides comprehensive behavioral health and early intervention services to over 3,500 clients across 24 counties in Northern California, making it a significant regional provider of evidence-based therapies and support programs.

The organization's core clinical services include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy delivered in center-based, home-based, and school-based settings, early intervention programs for children ages 0-3, speech therapy, and social skills groups. Easterseals Northern California employs approximately 300 clinical practitioners, all of whom are Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians. Beyond direct clinical services, the organization offers free family support and engagement programs including inclusive respite care, recreational activities, and adaptive outings for client families.

Easterseals Northern California's programs maintain the highest level of accreditation from CARF International, with their Adult Day Health program, Early Intervention services, and Behavioral Health services all achieving three-year CARF accreditation status. The organization has expanded significantly since 2012, when it served 125 clients, demonstrating substantial growth and community impact. Additional programming includes the Kaleidoscope Community Adult Program in Dublin, which focuses on life skills development, independence, and workforce preparation for adults.
