TRAVELERS BEWARE! Wow, what a horrible experience. Recruiter was uncommunicative, and when able to finally get on a phone call barely understandable. Ultimately, recruiter was rude and I decided to take my talent and this contract opportunity to a different company. As an experienced healthcare traveler, this is not a company to work for or with. Of note, unable to get a hold of anyone from the actual Theraex staffing team. Only voicemail.

I worked for this company and it was generally good. Only thing I will say is never hold an important conversation over the phone. Always either text or email. I made the mistake of answering a call from my recruiter when she was upset and she YELLED at me through the phone. I'll take ownership - I did oversleep arrive late. However, when I got there the hospital was overstaffed and sent me (along with 2 others) home as soon as I arrived (common occurrence). Never took another phone call again and always made it a point to text back only to maintain a level of professionalism.

Signed with recruiter Meranda Smith-Arteaga at TheraEx in June 2024 as I was ready to do locums assignments. She had me send all of my personal information. I sent my certifications, references etc. I never heard back from this company after submitting my information. It's now February 2026 and I never received any options nor offers for anything or to go anywhere! I initially reached out to her a couple of months after signing and she stated she hadn't forgotten about me. Two years later and never have heard back from her. Worst recruiter ever. I went with another company shortly after and have been working in California as a locums provider ever since.

A recruiter from this agency reached out to me, (mind you I did not reach out to them). They stated that there was a job opportunity and had me send all of my personal information so I could get submitted. I sent my certifications, references etc. I never heard back from this company after submitting my information. When I reached out, Alysia just said the position had closed already. This seemed extremely shady to me that after they got all of my personal information, they didn’t even bother to follow up with me to let me know that the job position had closed already. It seemed like a scam to steal my personal information. I saw that THEY OFFER a review button to review your recruiter. (Mind you, this is a feature that the company offers.) So i decided to leave a review and the recruiter retaliated against me for leaving her a bad review, something we are allowed to do. I will attach a screenshot of the email she sent me. This company is extremely unprofessional, and lack accountability. I still have not received an apology for the poor communication and the recruiter not doing her job thoroughly.

Best company ever hands down! This is my first time working with TheraEx and I have not had an bad day yet 😊.. I’m very particular about sharing my information with other agencies but TheraEx and my recruiter Brannon Harris made me feel very safe and comfortable. They push hard to get you placed and very friendly atmosphere. I so love this company! They ROCK!! It’s not the Company’s name that makes TheraEx outstanding, it’s the staff that makes TheraEx outstanding. I love TheraEx and I’m very glad I am an employee. They really made it happen! ❤️
