Autism Tree Project Foundation

Autism Tree Project Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families impacted by autism through free community programs and advocacy. Founded in 2003 by Dayna and Todd Hoff after their son's autism diagnosis, the organization has grown to serve families across San Diego County and the Bay Area.

The foundation operates a continuum of 20+ free intensive programs designed to meet the basic needs of children with autism while building confidence, communication skills, and social connections. Services include early intervention screenings, parent mentoring, educational workshops, and family advocacy support. The organization is distinguished by its focus on community building rather than direct clinical service delivery.

Autism Tree Project hosts over 200 annual events and activities, creating abundant opportunities for neurodiverse children and their families to connect, engage, and play in supportive environments. Notable programs include mentorship initiatives with University of San Diego athletes and research partnerships. The foundation's approach emphasizes peer support, education, and social integration as core components of family well-being.
