About RXNT.
RXNT offers electronic health record and clinical documentation software for ABA providers. Headquartered in Annapolis, MD, the platform ensures compliant charting, treatment planning, and progress reporting.
How RXNT works.
RXNT is a privately held clinical and practice management software company founded in 1999 by Randy Boldyga. The platform provides a fully-integrated suite of healthcare technology tools including electronic health records, medical billing and revenue cycle management, e-prescribing with controlled substance support, practice scheduling, and patient portals designed for ambulatory care settings.
The company operates from its headquarters in Annapolis, Maryland, where it employs approximately 135–200 professionals. RXNT's EHR is ONC-HIT certified through Drummond Group and meets Electronic Prescribing for Controlled Substances (EPCS) requirements, positioning it as a compliant solution for regulated healthcare environments. The platform emphasizes HIPAA compliance and integrated clinical documentation workflows.
RXNT serves a broad range of ambulatory healthcare providers across multiple specialties. While the company's broader market focus spans primary care, urgent care, and specialty practices, it also supports behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA) providers. The platform's clinical documentation, treatment planning, and progress reporting capabilities address workflows common to these settings.
As a bootstrapped, privately funded company with over 25 years of operational history, RXNT has maintained long-term focus on ambulatory practice management. The company continues to develop its platform with features such as Ambient IQ, an AI-assisted clinical documentation tool designed to reduce charting time and improve provider efficiency.

If you’re a healthcare provider considering RXNT, proceed with extreme caution. My experience felt like a classic bait-and-switch. During the sales process, the platform was presented as having key capabilities included—especially e-prescribing, which is a basic requirement for running a clinical practice. After “onboarding” (a complete joke) was initiated, and I was trying to actually use the system, I discovered those features were blocked or unavailable, and any explanation I received was lacking common sense, transparency, and veracity. When I attempted to resolve the issue, the customer support was essentially nonexistent. Responses were slow, unhelpful, or didn’t come at all. It felt like once the contract was signed, getting meaningful help became nearly impossible. For healthcare providers, software reliability and transparency are critical. When core functions like e-prescribing are presented one way during sales and then restricted afterward, it disrupts workflow and wastes valuable time. There are many EHR vendors out there. Based on my experience with misrepresented features, locked functionality, and poor support, I would strongly advise providers to look elsewhere.

Customer Support is terrible. If you run in to an issue, don't count on help or problem solving from RxNT. You can call, email, beg, plead and still not get resolution. Their only 5 reviews to date all being negative is a very real red flag.

Steer clear! RXNT’s guidance through the Change Healthcare hack has been less than subpar in my opinion. The hack occurred in February and they are still “working out kinks” and changing things which has created a huge disruption in getting claims out which has a direct effect on receiving payment. Many of my colleagues were able to continue with minimal disruption almost IMMEDIATELY after the change healthcare hack through other practice management systems. I’m still only receiving ERA’s from one payer and between this and challenges with submitting claims I feel that I’m doing RXNT’s job for them while juggling my own.

Stay away- find a better option than RXNT.. Bogus company: Requested to cancel sub multiple times and keep charging; don't provide them CC authorization. Very unprofessional organization.
