As a chiropractor operating within a small business environment, I rely heavily on dependable and professional support from the vendors we partner with. Unfortunately, my experience with Inovalon has been consistently disappointing. Customer service interactions have frequently come across as abrupt, dismissive, and lacking the level of professionalism expected in a healthcare setting. When reaching out with straightforward questions regarding eligibility verification, the responses often feel rushed or non-solution-oriented, which creates unnecessary friction in an already demanding clinical workflow. From a financial standpoint, the cost of the service does not appear to align with the level of support provided. For smaller practices—such as chiropractic offices—this is especially impactful. We operate with tight margins while striving to deliver high-quality patient care, and we depend on vendors who understand and respect that reality. At present, this platform feels better suited for larger organizations with more resources and internal support systems. For independent or small-practice chiropractors, I would strongly encourage careful consideration before committing. There is clear opportunity for improvement in both customer support training and overall client experience. Until those areas are addressed, I cannot recommend this service to smaller healthcare providers.

We signed a contract with them to help with insurance eligibility through our current EHR. After signing the contract we were told it would not work our clearinghouse and there was nothing they could do about it. They constantly sent messages about payment but could offer no resolution to our issue. They still made us pay almost $2,000 for something we never used. Save yourself the headache and find a different provider.

I would never recommend this company. They changed ownership, lock you into contracts a year at a time, even if you initially set up with them 4 years ago due to a continuation of a previous provider service. I sold the business, was no longer the owner so no need for the service, and they still lock you into a contract and continue to take your money monthly. Terrible customer service with no consideration for small businesses.

Bad management and scheduling because they used 3rd party people who didn't know the area. Then Inovalon didn't want pay the mileage even though their schedules were wrong.
