The only way to get service is to call recipients rights..then they magically come up with the answers. Call recipients rights if you want your child taken care of for real. But I can say by psychologist Dr faucett need to retire every kid gets addrell or Zoloft and is rushed job out his office. He is very old and nervous. Lol.. he will fall asleep on u.

I am experiencing the same exact things as everyone else giving these people low scores. My son has therapy through the Clinton Township facility and I have experienced nothing but issues. My ex-wife is brainwashing our child and all I'm trying to do is get him to help he needs and they have muted me during meetings, disrespected me in front of my son, and told my son that my wife/ his stepmom doesn't matter and he doesn't have to listen to her. I have records that would Enlighten them with who I am, my new wife is, my ex-wife is, and my 16 year old son is becasue we have been to other facilities that were amazing but he graduated from and then we started having issues with him again and took him to easter seals. All they say is that's the past and the past doesn't matter and I've explained to them that it would tell them what kind of people we are and all the lies and stuff my ex tells them are fase and in the records and it would tell them then my ex-wife is lying to them and they blame me because my son is violent at my household and I've told them that he almost pushed my 5-year-old down the stairs because he was mad that he lost against her in Uno which we were all playing but he claimed she cheated and try to push her down the stairs fortunately I was there to catch her and also explain to them that he tried to attack my 7-year-old because he wanted to sit on a trampoline and she wanted to bounce and he tried to attack her and I had to jump in front of him and take his punches otherwise he would have severely injured my daughter. And all they say is Almost Doesn't Matter and they don't take me seriously and have expressed that he blacks out and says that when he gets violent he blacks out and doesn't know what's going on and they are not getting him the help that he needs. It blows my mind at a place like this could still exist when they are so negligent and I am just trying to get him help he needs and to keep my household safe and they don't show any signs of doing anything unless they can sit in their chairs and click a mouse and now I'm not even involved in the meetings that they have and I constantly request records from them when I read through the records it shows that they just listen to whatever my ex says and our son says and our son says whatever his mom wants and they make me out to be the bad guy. I'm actually trying to get in home therapy and I was told he was denied because of a score that his therapist put false information in and so he wasn't tested properly and you don't see that if I'm asking for in home that I couldn't possibly be part of the problem because I'm inviting people to come to my house and see what's going on so he can get the help he needs and my other children are afraid of their brother and just want him to get help so they feel safe

Worst place possible to go for your children/ very bad communication skills/ they have no accountability for their actions/ therapist will put words in the child's mouth to make them radicated in their sessions so they can prolong services/ when you complain they keep it all in the same building as they all work together to triangulate them doing wrong doing/ fortunately I have a remedy. When having parent/ child sessions the therapist will bring up legal talk/ they will even try to make the child feel guilty for not sating what the therpist what's them to say....... this therapist knows exactly who she is and she's about to be accountable for.

Terrible place. The psychiatrist that I saw here didn't take into account my chronic health conditions and tried prescribing me SSRIs after I told her I had an allergic reaction to Lexapro in the past. She's like, oh, they're not the same. Went to pick up the Paxil she prescribed me instead and the pharmacist refused to fill it due to my allergy. But whatever, they're looking out for you, right? Also in 6 months time (if even that long) I went through 4 therapists because they all kept leaving. With my last one, I had completely forgotten I had a Cardiologist appointment and texted her asking to reschedule. Never heard a word from her and got a letter a few weeks later saying they pretty much dropped me. Good riddance, goodbye.

I am a skeptic when it comes to doctors and clinicians because of past experience with both myself and my children. But I can say with total confidence that Easterseals has done an amazing job helping my daughters and myself cope and adapt in a healthy way to live successfully in todays world. I can’t imagine being a teenager now a days, and as a parent, I would do anything to help my girls get through these tough years. Colleen has done a wonderful job helping us communicate even if it’s uncomfortable for both of us. She helped save my beautiful daughter from going into a very dark place. I see some do not share the same experiences we have with Easterseals, but I’ve been in and out with my girls over the years, and between the staff, docs, and therapists, they have all done an amazing job, considering what they too, have to deal with day in and day out. At times my girls had to change therapists in the middle of treatment, but they did an alright job matching them with someone similar. And if they are ready and willing to change, and it’s explained that stuff like this happens, we got through it. It’s hard to keep constant staff on hand all the time, so I understood. Thanks for all the help easterseals. You have a 5 star review from my family!!
