How InTouch Health works.
InTouch Health is a telehealth software and medical device company that enables remote clinical care delivery across the healthcare continuum. Founded in 2002 by UC Santa Barbara graduate Yulun Wang, the company developed an integrated suite of technology, software, and purpose-built devices designed to connect healthcare providers with patients in diverse clinical environments.
The platform serves hospitals, health systems, and clinical providers across multiple specialties and care settings, including emergency departments, intensive care units, procedure rooms, patient wards, clinics, ambulances, and home environments. InTouch Health has partnered with more than 450 hospitals and health systems globally, demonstrating significant adoption across the healthcare industry.
Based in Santa Barbara, California, InTouch Health employs between 250 and 350 people. The company raised $115 million in funding before being acquired by Teladoc Health in July 2020 for approximately $600 million. As a subsidiary of Teladoc Health, InTouch Health continues to develop and deploy telehealth solutions across multiple clinical disciplines and care delivery models.

InTouch Health has created the most user friendly, safe, reliable Telemediicine solution out there! They really put thought into creating a platform that allows the physicians and nurses who interact with it, to utlilize it with ease, even if it's been a few months since they last used it. Highly Recommend!

InTouch Health is an invaluable partner in providing superior telemedicine service to our facilities as evidenced by our 15 RP Lites, one Xpress, and three Viewpoint robots. Services and support with fast response by TAC keeps our robots ready for use. We not only use them for wound care but also for strokes, Neuro events, Infectious Disease, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Toxicology, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing, Congestive Heart Failure Program, Community Health, and Post-Acute Care. Using InTouch Health telemedicine for virtual visits provides quick and easy access for patients seen at our satellite locations. Patients would normally need to travel 20 to 30 miles and generally wait for appointment time later in the week. By using virtual visits, the patient’s healing time decreases because of expedited interventions.

We have been using InTouch since 2010. They are the "Cadillac" in terms of real time continuous telehealth monitoring and have flexible options for any healthcare situation. We use them primarily for acute stroke telemedicine services in 7 acute care hospitals as well as 2 surgical hospitals.

InTouch Health technology has been a huge asset and positive boon to our Stroke Telehealth program. As a Comprehensive Stroke Center, having an immediate, high quality consult in our ED for every stroke patient that came through the door was essential. InTouch has allowed us to partner with some of the foremost neurologists in Chicago for that immediate feedback needed for patient planning. Traffic and conflicting emergencies are no longer an issue to get a neurologist at the bedside for our patients. They are there within five minutes of activation no matter what!

Dr.s Russ and Lauren have helped me with a variety of old and new injuries, resulting from age and active lifestyle. Through their chiropractic care and health counseling, I have learned to adjust the way I go about things and remain healthy and active. Im far from ready to quit. I know I am not an easy case study, as I have always tended to do things full speed. Thanks for your top notch care and keeping me off the operating table!
