From the provider side, this is a great platform with great features to get around the pain points of our EHR.

While I received good service from the staff and my new doctor, my introduction as a new patient was SEVERELY SET BACK and I was EMBARRASSED by the faulty technology of CUROGRAM, the supposedly “all-in-one, HIPAA-compliant communication platform” my doctor’s office uses to reduce phone calls and alleviate time spent on paperwork in the waiting room. After spending nearly an hour at home before my appointment filling out the paperwork via a Curogram email link sent to me by my doctor’s office, my submission FAILED and my federally required paperwork was NOT RECEIVED by the office before my appointment. I WAS NOT ALLOWED to commence with my appointment (due to federal requirements, I was told) unless I filled out the paperwork all over again, by hand, in the waiting room beforehand, which took 45 minutes after the scheduled time of my appointment. I was seen at the very end of the day as much of the staff was leaving to go home. When you call Curogram you get a recording obviously oriented to sales and marketing of their products to medical practices (patients like me - inconvenience that we are - are instructed to work with their doctor and staff if they have any need for assistance with Curogram). This is unacceptable - the typical overhanded attitude you get these days from Big Tech whenever their products encounter "an issue,” no matter how inconvenienced or put out the issue makes you. I was upset and almost jettisoned my appointment with the new doctor, an appointment which I had waited on for ONE MONTH. I was NOT HAPPY.

We have been using the Curogram software for now more than 7 years. This has been an excellent addition to our front office suite. The program sends appointment reminders, new patient packets, insurance information. We are also able to do televisits on the platform as well as communicate with patients via texting real time.
