We paid for a comprehensive autism evaluation for our child, but the report was unusable for accessing services. The assessment was conducted by a psychometrist, without the presence or supervision of a physician or licensed psychologist, and the final report lacked a medical doctor or psychologist’s signature. A psychometrist administers testing under supervision but does not independently diagnose. Because ABA providers would not accept the evaluation without appropriate medical or psychological signatures, we are now required to obtain a second evaluation elsewhere. This limitation was not disclosed prior to payment. We paid for a service that could not be used as intended, resulting in delayed care and unnecessary financial burden. Reimbursement is warranted, and families deserve clear disclosure about evaluator credentials and report validity before scheduling.

I had a very good experience here and my daughter felt safe and had fun with the toys they had ! I’m glad they were able to help us diagnose

They’ve been so helpful to us, both with the process of screening our kids and keeping up with appointments by reminding us. So kind and ready to give answers when we have questions—plus, it’s very clear they know what they are doing here. Thank y’all!

I was seen at the Gainesville location. I like that the visits were broke down in 3 appointments. The evaluation was done by Nelly and she was very kind and helpful. The results appointment is in a few weeks due to it being summer but they did offer virtual visit if needed results back quicker. Overall the first 2 appointments went smoothly and experience was great.
