Cortica is a multi-disciplinary healthcare provider specializing in advanced neurological therapies and autism treatment for children and adolescents. Founded in 2014 by Dr. Suzanne Goh as a single clinic in Del Mar, California, Cortica has grown to operate 24 clinics across eight states with approximately 2,200 employees as of January 2025. The company is accredited as a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence by BHCOE and is NPA certified in California. Cortica's integrated care model combines Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy with speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, music therapy, and pediatric medical services. The organization serves children from birth through age 21, offering programs tailored to different developmental stages, including the Jumpstart program that blends play-based learning with neuroscience-informed therapy for children ages 0-5. The company delivers services across multiple modalities including in-home, in-clinic, telehealth, school-based, and community-based ABA. All ABA assessments are conducted by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and supervised by licensed behavior analysts. Cortica implements a naturalistic approach to therapy with a strong focus on caregiver training, empowering parents and families with practical strategies and regular progress updates. Cortica's clinical teams include experienced supervisors, developmental therapy clinicians, and pediatric medical providers. The organization works with translators as needed to serve diverse families. Cortica is the most amazing place I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. Starting with their enrollment team! Absolutely amazing group of ladies! They go above and beyond to help you navigate the process when you have absolutely no clue where to turn. I had the honor of working with Amber and she is just the most caring young woman. The Nurse Practitioner Punam Malani amazing at what she does as well. She took the time to listen to me and was very caring and thorough. Thank you Cortica for doing what you do for caring and going beyond for our youth. Exceptional service! You are changing lives one child at a time.
My family loves Cortica and all the therapists that work here. Everyone is so nice and helpful and my daughter has had tremendous progress since starting.
The providers here are so skilled, professional, and compassionate. They ensure that each child has a tailored plan of care and build meaningful relationships that foster success. The administrative and non-clinical staff do an excellent job of providing top-notch customer service, helping to ease the stress that parents often experience within the diverse and uniquely individual population they serve. Thank you, Cortica!!
Cortica is such an incredible therapy center! The OT my son is receiving is wonderful and I appreciate that the entire Cortica team works together to support my little one. 10/10 recommend Cortica San Diego !
We have been using service at Cortica Sorrento Valley for a while. All the staff are very nice and welcoming. I generally drop my son off and stay a while to work during his session. The atmosphere is professional and inviting, you can ask to observe the session to see and learn on the staff interacting on the service. Great pleasant experience at Cortica.
