Action Behavior Centers (ABC) is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Operating from headquarters in Austin, Texas, the organization has grown to operate over 200 ABA therapy centers across six states including Texas, Arizona, Illinois, Colorado, North Carolina, and Minnesota. ABC provides comprehensive ABA services across multiple settings tailored to each child's needs. Center-based therapy serves children ages 18 months to 8 years and focuses on developing communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors. In-home ABA therapy extends services to children up to age 13 in their family environment. The company also operates ABC Academy, a continuation-of-care program designed for school-age children to support ongoing progress in educational settings. Each child receives care from a clinical team led by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who hold master's-level credentials and specialize in autism care. BCBAs work closely with families to establish individualized therapy goals, oversee treatment sessions, and conduct twice-monthly Family Guidance sessions to ensure parents remain active partners in their child's progress. The organization emphasizes early intervention, with optimal outcomes typically achieved when therapy begins between 18 months and 5 years of age. Action Behavior Centers accepts many major health insurance providers including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, Optum, and others. The organization also offers no-cost autism evaluations, including the ADOS-2 assessment, to help families access initial diagnostics and begin their therapeutic journey.

I wanted to share my feedback regarding Isabelle in Clinical Admissions. While she is new and clearly learning her role, I’ve noticed that during moments when a child has a meltdown, her reactions can come across as unsympathetic or uncomfortable. Working at an autism center requires patience and empathy in all situations. I hope she can focus on maintaining a calm and neutral demeanor in such moments to support the children and families effectively. Updated Review - Glad this lady left the center.
Action Behavior Centers on Kramer Lane has been a true life changer for my daughter and I. We have been in ABA therapy for over a year with her BCBA, McKenna, and an incredible team, and the personal growth has been remarkable. My daughter’s development is miles ahead of where it would be without this therapy, and her social skills have blossomed in ways I never thought I would see. As a single mom of a severely disabled, autistic child who is nonverbal and deaf, finding trustworthy support once felt impossible until ABC. I feel at ease leaving my daughter every day because I know she is with people who are actively working on her goals and well being. Everyone on her team and beyond is professional, kind, patient, and genuinely fun. They understand kiddos with “special attitudes” and meet them exactly where they are. Taliyah and Isabelle at the front desk are always friendly, organized, welcoming, and helpful. Beyond the sessions, they give me practical tools to use at home so progress continues outside the center. I am grateful every single day. Their care has made it possible for me to work full time with confidence that my daughter is safe, supported, and making real progress. A heartfelt thank you to McKenna and the entire Kramer Lane team. You have changed our lives.
Love, love, love!!!!! ABC here in Belton has been so wonderful!!! Seeing all the happy and smiling kids, plus smiling workers is so heart warming!!
Action Behavior Center has been amazing! The team of therapists are incredible! They show patience love and care with all the children. I love the parent portal with daily updates and meetings with the BCBA every two weeks to be involved with what my child’s needs are and seeing the reports of his progress. I can’t say enough good things about ABC. I will forever be grateful for the help, care and love my child receives daily. It takes a village to raise any child. It takes a special village to raise an Autistic child.
My son just graduated after almost 2 years at Action Behavior. The staff was absolutely wonderful and genuinely cared for my babe. He names several of his therapists as his “best friends”. He was absolutely loved there. We’ve been gone 2 weeks and he has asked several times to go back. They were so creative and kind, passionate and considerate, they always listened to our feedback and brainstormed with us for his plans. They make the days fun, have dress up days on Friday and followed my sons passions. Rowan made so much progress while there, most importantly we learned more effective ways to respond and parent him. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you are on the fence with aba as I was, prior to starting. We cannot thank them enough for our time there with the ABC family!
