    Bought Pursuit HD , rotation holder with remote for it , after one season it’s leaking, waited one year a camera replacement unit for it , used ONCE !!! On 14 feet of water and guess what ? , yes its leaking again , and Canadian representative has no parts for replacement !!! Garbage ? No , its great unit but people don’t care about you , they just want your money ! Marcum , what I need to do to make it work ?

    Purchased an underwater camera from them and the day of purchase I registered it with Marcum for warranty coverage. The camera would never take a charge/did not work so I tried to claim my warranty and get a replacement camera that actually works. Marcum would not accept the warranty claim (even though I had everything they say they need for the claim) and made what should have been an easy process a painful one. Weeks later I was able to return the camera through another channel and wanted to buy another camera/flasher from Marcum (my bad for believing the above was an anomaly and not the norm for this company, so I actually decided to buy a different Marcum replacement product). Now, for the hassle of them selling me something that didn't work and then not recognizing my warranty coverage, and for the poor customer service and slow response time throughout causing me to miss half the ice fishing season - I asked if they would give me any kind of discount for the new more expensive purchase of a camera/flasher combo...they did in fact offer me a discount on this other camera/flasher if I purchased it...so i went to do so. But guess what, the item they offered was out of stock...I did find I could buy it from another vendor but they would not honor the discount they offered unless I bought from their website (which again was out of stock) - so essentially they didn't really offer a discount at all, just a big charade/hassle. So I tried to work with them to find a reasonable solution, but to no avail. Through this whole process I never got to actually speak with a live body (never, not once), instead dealing with emails that may or may not respond to me for sometimes days. Its almost as if they try to make the experience so difficult someone will give up and just eat the money spent rather than deal with them. I would highly recommend avoiding Marcum - and not even so much for selling equipment that doesn't work or the hundreds of dollars I am out of pocket due to their misgivings/incompetence, but for perhaps one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had in anything in my 50 years - and this all to a customer (me), who has in the past and is currently trying, to spend a lot of money on their products. Buyer beware.

    Really poor experience with Marcum support. Have a Marcum Pursuit HD I got a couple years ago that like many others have mentioned here got water behind the lens (with no physical damage to be clear). Talked with Marcum support they dont have replacement cameras I can purchase and don't know when of if they will be restocked; and offered no other solutions. Really disappointed in the longevity on the device (considering how many i've seen reported it LOOKS like this is a manufacturing defect); and offered NO solutions even when I offered to put more money into it. I love the device otherwise, and I'm just looking to get SOME sort of solution....

    Purchased a Pursuit HD not long ago and have used to camera approx. 10 times. The camera got water in the lens and is cutting in and out. I talked to customer service and was told it couldn't be fixed and a new camera and cable need to be purchased. There hasn't been any available for purchase for going on a year since I've been looking on the website semi-regularly. Was told the only other option was to buy an entire new unit 30% off. I don't feel i should have to buy an entire new unit when my current unit is probably only around two years old. Its been really frustrating.

    Purchased a MarCum Recon 5 from Sail in Cambridge, ON. Charging port failed into the second season of use. May have used it 10 times in total maybe..... contacted the Canadian repair company outfitted in Winnipeg today before shipping it to them and they said they would be unable to fix the problem, and the damage is not under warranty. For a $500 unit I had expected a better warranty service than this being a top of the line underwater camera. Pretty disappointed with my experience and would not recommend this model or brand to anyone at this point in time.
