Order at Pizza Hut 03/09 on West hill ave in Valdosta Ga. This is what I received from the door dash driver. Just left it at my hotel door and didn’t even bother to knock. I got a del text about a minute after he arrived so food was not by the door long!
THIEVES ALL AROUND: Ordered food on 02/13/26 at 1:38 pm costing $104.81 total. At 1:49 pm, order was marked completed and delivered by dasher "tina" despite typical delivery up to 45 mins from order. Called driver who hung up on me and declined to answer calls. Chat AI "Christian" was unhelpful. Driver had not attempted to call/text me nor provide required photo of any delivery for items ordered per instructions. Called support and spoke to "Ivy" numerous times who mentioned that the manager would follow up regarding my refund request but they never called. I called numerous times to support with absolutely no follow up from support other than a canned response or a manager whatsoever despite word that they would reach out. They refuse to refund me for products I did not receive and are protecting a dasher who stole my order. Despite GPS tracking/data and photo/video documentation from my cameras proving no items were delivered at that time or after, they refuse to refund me for service (delivery) and product (missing order) I HAVE NOT received. Shame on this company for enabling scammers and disrespecting customers who support them. I am seeking a full refund of my entire order immediately.
Doordash uses this to discriminate ultimately. They are not confused with multiple people with one account. It really should not take 2 weeks over a Dasher changing their phone number to verify their account. When they have been verified successfully to be able to start delivering orders. Doordash claims other Dashers have been using my email. Never have I gotten a Doordash email. This confused game is the same as when segregation was a thing. Why delay the hiring process with claims that are not valid. Doordash has a nasty way in there process and handling with people in it's system where it targets them in a hiring process. If this was the case don't make Doordash where people they like to treat this was able to sign up. Straight civil matter over being a delivery driver is exactly where this boils to. Unfortunately this is not the first time Doordash has been absurd and claimed confused with what they are doing!
I am writing to formally express my deepest dissatisfaction with multiple recent experiences using DoorDash. Over several orders, I have repeatedly encountered serious issues including the substitution of discounted grocery items for much more expensive alternatives without my approval, orders being delivered to incorrect addresses with no follow-up or effective resolution, and, most egregiously, condescending and unhelpful responses from customer service representatives. During my most recent order from Safeway, my discounted items were replaced with the highest-priced alternatives, costing me significantly more than expected. This is not the first time this has happened. On another occasion, my order was delivered to the wrong address and my efforts to contact DoorDash support were ignored — I never received a proper refund. Most recently, a customer service representative abruptly canceled my order without my consent while I was waiting for a meal, despite my clear request not to do so. I was left without food or fair compensation. The cumulative effect of these unresolved issues has been both financially and emotionally draining. I am extremely frustrated at being continually blamed for mistakes that are clearly the responsibility of DoorDash and its contractors. I expect clear communication, accountability, and to at least receive what I paid for — not to mention respect from your support team.
I placed a food order today and DoorDash couldn’t even get a Dasher assigned to it. Yet on the Dasher app no indication that it was busy in the area. The restaurant’s close time came and went still no dasher assigned to my order. I called DoorDash and was told they were busy and there weren’t enough dashers. Again dasher app showed no indication that it is busy. I called the restaurant to confirm there was staff still there to even meet a dasher for pick up. The owner of the restaurant was there and said he would give DoorDash 15mins to assign a dasher. Not even 5mins later DoorDash cancels my order. Owner of the restaurant calls to let me know the order was cancelled; DoorDash didn’t have the decency to call me. Owner of the restaurant offered to bring my the order himself but the delivery was opposite where he was going. I told the restaurant owner thank you but after he stay there 30mins overtime and the restaurant having to pay DoorDash commission on every order I couldn’t accept. I will say the restaurant showed me superior customer service to what I received from DoorDash. Damn convenience but you best believe if this keeps happening that convenience is not going to be worth it for DoorDash customers. Not to mention when calling DoorDash support they dont seem to have representatives that actually understand English.
