Disgusting company. Got a letter about being due council tax rang up sorted a payment plan. Today got a hand delivered letter which cost me £96.27 to be delivered! I was told over the phone theyd be putting a card in the letter i could pay off debt! Not getting charged 90+ to tell me something i know! Fraud and lies. Rang up today the lady who answered has serious control issues and was vile very patronising towards someone with disabilities and clearly on some power trip. Turns out scott and Co claims to not have access to my number which is impossible since the council who they are acting on behalf if has my number... pure scam company very unhappy and will be seeking advice on this. Rip off that awful mouthpiece even admitted they NEVER EVEN ASKED FOR MY NUMBER. Sad companies resort to doing this to ppl and even more of a joke the council conduct themselves this way they should liason with housing officers to make you aware this was going on! Was told years ago this would be paid off!

Disappointing service. Everytime on the phone with them the person on the phone gives wrong information, false hope and then regarding someone else's debt that I am having to pay for, they are just putting their feet up and still not getting in contact with the other tenant that was on the lease. Response I get is 'the other tentant has not been in contact', well what are you as a service doing about it? Nothing again. You should be getting in contact yourself with that other tenant saying there is still debt on that account that and further action will be taken and needs to pay for it rather than myself who is the innocent party having to deal with something that Scott & Co shouldve dealt with years ago.

Like others say if I could give negative reviews I would. I got one warning letter from them for a late council tax payment in summer which I directly and promptly set up a direct debit to pay as it was a genuine honest mistake I didn’t realise it hadn’t been coming out, then AT XMAS after having proof I set a direct debit to pay the £900 in summer and already paid £200 of it at least, they must of failed to take the direct debit out and then that’s apparently my fault again somehow and now they are taking me to court and threatening arrestment at Xmas time with no warning letters or any warning that the direct debit I put through had failed. Absolute joke and robbery I just had to pay over £1000 that I had to borrow from someone to stop myself from going to jail for Xmas over a genuine mistake, I hadn’t relished hadn’t taken the direct debit which is their responsibility to do after I set it up!!!!! 😡😡😡

Legalised theft is the word I would use to describe this company. 110 pounds cost to pay a late ctax bill and a further charge of 51 pounds to pay this bill???. Zero customer service and a refusal to understand or empathise.

I wish there was Zero rating. I got a letter from the bank that they had taken the money. The women on the phone was very rude. I wonder if she has any empathy in talking to people who are reaching this company out in despair. Daylight robbery and Entitled people sitting in the office. I was trying to understand what she was meaning and she was very rude and said “I have already told you what it is, why are you asking again?” She technically has one job to answer the phone calls and that’s how she responds. She was not even interested to repeat it. Horrible people
