Worst place I ever stayed no fresh air no healthy food no music No Crafts no colored pencils no paper no anything you can’t make bracelets there’s no string or beads. This place sucks absolutely barely let you out to get fresh air windows are screwed Shut painted from the outside living hell

The Dr there was an amazing nonjudgmental understanding Dr who did everything possible to ensure my recovery as much as my safety. Andrea C, a CRS who worked there “borrowed” from me yet would never return, I know I was taken for no less than 100$ give or take. By the time she was fired, It’s my guess she wasn’t in a good place, I reached out to her private # several Xs after her release to obtain my property or $. It was clear Her children’s father is extremely abusive of which I believe is the reason she is behaving so poorly. Anna, pyramids director, dismissed me from pyramid IOP program after 60 days of treatment. Having been a very heavy addict for over 4 years I did not feel ready to quit my groups I’d attended 3 days a week to one hour a month w my personal counselor and 1 group session a month of my choosing. I told her I was fat from ready to be released in such a big way with 2 days notice I’d begged her to let me continue group but she insisted, in fact made it abundantly clear that I could not continue any more groups as they were and what she’s offered me was her very best as my insurance would in fact not cover anymore treatment! First I called my insurance company who informed me that I absolutely could continue treatment and all they needed was to hear that they recommended I continue. After finding her whole story about not being able to continue treatment as my insurance would no longer provide coverage to be a flat out lie, i them proceeded to call her boss and he told me the same basic thing. If Anna would agree for me to continue treatment I could continue services. Jordan, who witnessed this entire conversation and is also my personal counselor sat there in the room as she also more or less forced me to sign some papers I did not want to sign by telling me that I could not leave that room unless I signed them, that if I signed them she could process my paperwork & if I did not it would just make it harder for everyone. In continually harassing me to sign her threats became more and more invasive stating I would have to pay out of pocket if I did not sign, among other things said that I cannot remember precisely. In the end I’d missed half my next to last group and when I finally gave in I told them I felt forced. She refused to allow me to use that phrase before I signed. I did in fact confirm that nobody held a gun to my head or physically forced me to sign but o in fact did feel forced bc they both made it clear that if I did not sign I could not leave that room, I would have to pay out of pocket for treatment etc. therefore I felt forced to sign that paperwork for her to get me out of the pyramid group sessions. In all, her boss, my insurance company and Blair county drug & alcohol all said she only needed to refer me to continue treatment. Ultimately I am now attending group with cenclear because 60 days does not repair 4+ years of heavy daily active addiction. Chris, one of the group leaders told me that when I shared my story about the untimely death of my 18 yr old daughter who broke her neck in a car crash and did not cry when I told this to a group of 10+ strangers that I was a bad mother bc a good mother would have cried. When I first met Chris (having never been to any treatment facility ever before) forced me (by staying on me and hounding me until I spoke) to tell my story on my first day there before a group of 10+ strangers (still in a clouded state of mind having yet to have a sober day) I felt so violated. (Everyone in group was sure they would never see me again. BUT SADLY FOR CHRIS ANNA AND JORDAN I AL DETERMINED TO STAY SOBER! Hence I am now a patient at cenclear! If you truly desire sobriety I highly recommend anywhere but pyramid. There ARE a few good ones there! The nurse, the dr, the nurses at the clinic, Andrea and most certainly Paige are all ppl who work there who want their clients to succeed! JUST BECAUSE A FEW APPLES IN THE BASKET ARE ROTTEN, DOES NOT MEAN ALL IF THE APPLES HAVE ROTTED! In the end, Anna refused me treatment so I went to Cenclear!

The Doctor is alright, but the nurses, staff, my consoler Susan is INCREDIBLE. So caring, nonjudgmental, easy to connect with, interested and invested in all her clients recover. Our sessions are one hour but I could sit there all day and talk with her. Just an incredibly kind, outgoing, transparent and caring human being. One of the best people I’ve ever met. The nurses are great too. Know you by name, asks about your life and is super kind and caring about everything going on. If you are ready to recover, this is the place to be. But you HAVE to do your part and be responsible with your recover.
