Miriam Foundation

Miriam Foundation is a specialized education nonprofit serving St. Louis and surrounding communities for over a century. The organization operates a K-12 school with small class sizes and individualized curriculum, alongside a Learning Center providing diagnostic testing, therapy services, tutoring, and counseling for children ages 2-25.

Miriam serves students with learning disabilities, language disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and sensory processing differences. The school integrates speech-language pathology and occupational therapy into the educational program. The Learning Center reaches more than 1,600 unique learners annually through specialized assessments, private tutoring, summer therapy programs, and family counseling.

Based in Webster Groves, a suburb of St. Louis, Miriam maintains a strong commitment to accessibility and affordability, with 60 percent of families receiving tuition assistance. The organization also operates the Switching Post resale shop as part of its community engagement efforts. With decades of experience in diagnosis and education for children with developmental differences, Miriam provides comprehensive support across academic, therapeutic, and social-emotional domains.
