Holmes Murphy is currently in possession of payment for insurance they never provided. We paid upfront in full for our home insurance, they immediately skyrocketed at the rate. In response were requested the refund and paid in full for a separate home insurance. They have ignored and refused to send the refund. We have sent emails and gone through the additional paperwork they require required to get Holmes Murphy/Chubb Refund the premium we paid and then they sent a letter stating they would be notifying our mortgage company stating there was a lapse in our home insurance when they were never our insurance carrier anyway. Whether it’s negligence or retaliation we don’t know- Sending false information to a mortgage company is beyond unethical.

Terrible customer service. Refused to cancel insurance even after the termination paper was signed and stated that we shouldn’t have signed the contract if we didn’t want the insurance. Tried to change the termination date to a future date. Said it was “earned premium” for their commission. Continued to hang up or leave you on hold for over 30 minutes. Terribly unprofessional.

Reached out stating they insure multiple businesses in our same line of business, then a month before our insurance needs to be renewed, you want to tell us you can’t help us. Biggest joke. Would never recommend doing business with this company. Super disappointed!
