If you are a company looking to hire please use ANY other service. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and can't get basic information right. They cost me a role due to their shoddy reporting. The couldn't even accurately report my years worked in previous roles and when I tried to contact them to have it corrected I was ignored. When I was contacted to provide an employment reference for one of my former employees they asked multiple personal questions which CANNOT be answer by an employer! They refused to answer any questions related to the "screening" and called at highly inappropriate times in the evening. A Google search can do a better job than this company. Use any other service!

Not BBB accredited. Plus inappropriate/illegal background check process in place. I lost a 130K professional offer because of them...and their inacuracies and unethical practices. Keep away! When I have time I will seek legal action. They are fabricating information and people are losing jobs that took them a long time to land.

Only because ZERO isn't an option. I like to give credit where credit is due but there is NO credit I can give this company. My background includes law enforcement and military experience and I have NEVER felt so crummy as this company made the background credit experience. I've been cleared for "Secret" clearances in the military faster than this company worked. I started my "journey" with this company in February 2025. It wasn't concluded until May 2025. THREE months! Granted I quit my job before the background was completed, that's on me. But I never in my wildest dreams thought it would take a background company 90 days to run a background. I got so much runaround with this company. They had me calling the credit bureaus multiple times to only find out the credit bureaus sent the information and was waiting on HireRight. It was like a dog chasing its tail. The worst part was the communication barrier. I don't know where the call takers are but my best guess/researched shows somewhere in the Philippines. You get what you pay for, I guess. I don't understand that since it shows Headquarters and offices all over the USA. I don't even fault the call takers, they are speaking an entire different language. I blame the people who hire cheaper labor instead of getting someone who can speak English as their FIRST language. The second most annoying thing about this company is the RIDICULOUS hold times and music. You think someone is about to pick up your call and NOPE, there's a pause of silence and then the music starts over again. I spent easily an hour + every time I called just to talk to someone. Once I do get someone, we deal with the language barrier and usually get "we are working on it" type of answer. It was the most excruciating experience I've ever had. I highly would NOT recommend this company to anyone looking for background services.

Absolutely horrible experience as an applicant. Some work situations are complicated and need to be explained to a human. Well you are out of luck. The best you can do is write a paragraph take a screenshot and upload it along with your documents. Until you get the next automated response. By the way be prepared to do ALL the work for them. If you say you worked at X company, they could go on the website call a number, ask to speak to HR and confirm your employment there but no. Be ready to dig out all your contracts, offer letters and payslips from 10 years ago as well as contacts from people who still work there!!! after 10 years!!. Whole process can take you 20 days as they randomly ask for papers you've already uploaded while refusing half of it. This process is more stressful than the actual interviews. Please don't use them

The background check report was finalized and shared with the employer before all necessary or updated information had been provided. This resulted in an incorrect report being issued, and unfortunately, there appears to be no way to correct the report once it is marked complete, even after the accurate documentation was submitted. This process creates significant risk for applicants and employers alike, as it may lead to decisions based on incomplete or inaccurate data. I respectfully suggest that your process be adjusted to allow reports to be updated or amended once supporting information is received, especially in cases where the original status could negatively impact a candidate’s opportunity.
