If you are an individual, do not use these guys for your taxes. As other reviews have noted, you will be nickel and dimed for any phone call or question you run by them and then sometimes they won't even bother to respond to your inquiries (waited over a month to one simple question we ran by them via email). We were their customer for years and gave them the benefit of the doubt on multiple occasions, but we finally made the decision to take our business elsewhere. Who knows maybe they are good with companies, but if you are an individual or someone with a family, go somewhere else for your tax needs.

I've owned my own company for 21 years, and Anders is hands down the best firm I've ever worked with for my company's accounting and tax work, along with some consulting as far strategy. The team always provides great recommends and demonstrates that they are really thinking about what's best for me and the company, not just trying to find ways to charge more. I highly recommend Anders!

Physicians, go somewhere else. I was with Anders for about a year for my startup medical practice. The accounting services are okay (expensive but okay--however they were so aggressive about depreciation which is nice short-term but bad long term). However, the medical practice startup services are inexperienced, poorly responsive, and insanely expensive. You get charged >$300/hour to have someone with zero experience manage your services badly. I feel foolish in retrospect. If I could do it again, I would have saved myself $40K and used another qualified accountant and bookkeeeper, a billing company that handles credentialing and coding. Dumping Anders was something I don't regret. I just wish I had my poorly spent money back.

I visited Anders CPAs + Advisors for a class, and I was ready to quit my job and go work for them! Everyone was so fantastic and they described the perfect work environment. They were very accommodating and provided breakfast, lunch, and drinks. We had a fridge full of water and soda, but someone asked for tea, and they brewed us pitchers of tea and brought everything we needed for it. I met some truly awesome people and know that they would be great to do business with!
