All programs are delivered by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Lighthouse Autism Center serves children ranging from early intervention ages through early teen years, with individual locations specializing in different age bands. The organization emphasizes parent training as a core component of treatment, with families participating in monthly progress review meetings and receiving instruction in ABA principles and procedures from qualified clinicians to support generalization of skills across environments. The organization maintains an active digital presence with multiple service locations and job openings across its five-state network. If I could give zero stars I would personally, I’ve never took my child here but recently, a girl did in Warsaw and they did not supervise her daughter, and she was taken to the ER for a pretty traumatic injury to her mouth. Do better better these are people’s kids!
Love them they do such good work. I dont know what I would do with out them. My son loves it there too.
My son was diagnosed with Autism, and we were sent to the Lighthouse Autism Center. I was not sure what to expect as I have never been through anything like this. I was nervous leaving my child. He stayed at home with me for 4 and a half years he had separation anxiety as well. So it was a big adjustment. I could not have left him in better hands! The Lighthouse is an amazing place. They were able to give our family something we never thought possible. They helped him with potty training, eating and a million other things. He has since graduated and is in school. He is doing so well in school and we have the Lighthouse to thank for that as well. An amazing place!
When my son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder two years ago, it was not a shock to me. Unfortunately, I was at a loss as to how to help him and overwhelmed at all the terms and therapies and support we were going to need. I had never even heard of ABA therapy before his diagnosis. When I looked into the Warsaw Center, I was amazed to have this quality of services in our area. It is has been a godsend for me and my son. The staff and therapists pour out their hearts into these children and the families. My son has grown leaps and bounds since he began working with them. His maladaptive behaviors have dramatically decreased and his verbal skills dramatically increased. They work to build his strengths and support him in areas he is challenged. The therapists work with him 1:1 and tailor specific programs and goals that he needed on a regular basis to help him gain social and life skills. They gave him the tools, and me the support, to be able to go Kindergarten this year. I have only the highest praise for each person at LAC, including Mr. Maggioli, Executive Director, Nicole Smoker, Program Manager, and each therapist: at the Warsaw location. They are extremely dedicated.I would say that is an understatement. They love each child there and see all their potential. It is evident in everything they do that each one is there because of their care for these children - to help give them the best future possible. My son and I are forever grateful.
