My son has been coming to KTZ for over a year and we see Ms. Lynda for speech. We love her and always have positive experiences. Everyone here is kind, caring and I would recommend KTZ to anyone looking for therapy for their child!
This place is amazing and the results speak for themselves! My son was diagnosed with autism at an early age and as a first time and single parent, I spent time looking for the perfect place for my little one, I was looking for speech and occupational therapy. I tried 2 different places before getting to this one, and I can tell you the difference was outstanding! Therapists on this location KNOW and are specialized on how to deal with kids with autism, this is SO crucial! It’s not just getting the therapy, it’s getting someone who can try and that WANTS to help your child, someone who can adapt and try different tools and strategies to HELP! I can’t say enough how grateful I am because after jumping back and forth between places, I finally found the one that is helping my son the best. And I’m telling you it wasn’t easy, but I can say now that I’ve seen results, my son is saying words after the amazing therapist Anna Hurtado has been working with him and adapting different strategies to him. Also Ms. Maryela and Jenni with the occupational therapy, I’ve seen a lot of improvement on how he transition from activities on a daily basis and also on his sensory processing skills. Thank you so much for existing! You have no idea how grateful I am.
We took my daughter to Kidz Therapy Zone for a feeding evaluation when she was 13 months old (aversion to solid foods). We worked with 2 therapists, Samantha and Barbie, and both therapists were wonderful with my daughter. They treated our family as a whole and not just the child which is what I really appreciate. They were both very understanding, knowledgeable of my daughters needs, and very responsive to emails and phone calls. My daughter completed therapy and is now enjoying all kinds of solid foods and textures. I would highly recommend Kids Therapy Zone. We are grateful for everything we learned and our daughter is so much happier and content.
My daughter suffers from severe anxiety and some sensory disorder issues as well. We have done OT before, but with little outcome. The first time I spoke with Charity I knew she would be able to help us. I wasn't even calling her for OT, in fact I had given up all hope of an OT working for her. I mistakenly called her looking for a mental health counselor to help with my daughter's anxiety. Quickly after calling we started discussing what is going on my my daughter...anxiety,sensory issues, temper tantrums, handwriting issues.. Charity was very knowledgeable about not just her specialty , but mental and physical health as well. She offered us to come in and do an eval. After the initial evaluation of my daughter it amazed me how much she picked up on. She had evaluated my daughter from head to toe. The notes she took were astoundingly in depth and dead on accurate. She even urged us to see an eye doc which lead us to find out that my girl needed glasses! Charity really is one of those amazing people who truly enjoys helping others. She has been nothing but kind and honest with us. When faced with so much complexity in life it really helps to have someone finally understand exactly what is going on and give you the facts. Charity has paired us with Janet, who is equally amazing. My daughter is not just working on her handwriting, but also getting a good sense of behavioral therapy , and calming techniques as well. And here is the great news. My daughter looks forward to her visits!! If your looking for an OT therapist the professionals at Kidz Therapy Zone are the real deal.
I cannot say enough of good things about this place that is truly like a second home to me and my two boys. Charity and the entire staff are beyond knowledgeable and friendly! My kids love going to therapy! The communication is excellent and they are very accommodating. Both of my boys have made tremendous progress since starting. The therapists are professional and you can tell they truly love the kids and their jobs. The facility is fantastic and super clean. The waiting room for parents is spacious and cozy, great if you have to get work done, quiet enough to read a book and filled with plenty of toys for other siblings to be entertained. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!
