We are a new dental practice and signed up with DentalXChange because we were told it would meet our needs. Unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing. Recently, DentalXChange notified us that they are no longer offering the unlimited claims plan we originally signed up for. Instead, they are requiring us to switch to a plan that only includes 200 claims per month, with additional charges for every claim over that limit. This is a significant change that increases our costs and was very frustrating to learn after we had already committed to their service. Customer service has also been a major issue. It is extremely difficult to reach someone by phone, and when we do, different representatives give different answers. The lack of consistent information makes it difficult to resolve even simple questions. Based on our experience, I would not recommend DentalXChange to other dental practices. We are now actively looking for another clearinghouse that offers more transparent pricing, reliable customer support, and a better plan for growing practices.

Their system and their clearinghouse are great, but startng 7/1/26 they have jacked up their prices for small operations like ours by a factor of 3. I was paying

We have been experiencing ongoing issues with sending attachments through DentalXChange for over a month, and the lack of resolution has become extremely frustrating. We were assigned a Senior Support Specialist, Alondra, to handle our case, and because she is the assigned representative, we have been unable to speak with or receive assistance from anyone else regarding this issue. Every time we contact support, we are told that Alondra is working on the case, yet nothing has been resolved. I have personally called three separate times requesting to speak with her directly, but each time I’m informed that she is unavailable. Despite repeated follow-ups, there has been no meaningful progress or communication regarding a solution. We have made numerous phone calls and requested urgent assistance. Each time, we are told the matter is being “escalated,” but there is never any follow-up, timeline, or clear accountability provided. It feels as though we are being continuously redirected without anyone actively taking ownership of the situation. This level of communication and support is unacceptable, especially when this issue is directly impacting our daily operations and workflow. At this point, we are requesting that someone knowledgeable contact us promptly and take the necessary steps to properly resolve this ongoing attachment issue.

We are a brand-new dental practice that has only been open for one month, and our experience with Dental Exchange has been catastrophic from the very start. From day one, our dental insurance claims have not been submitted to insurance companies. As a new practice trying to build momentum, establish cash flow, and earn patient trust, this failure has been devastating. We are operating at roughly 10% of our expected revenue in our very first month of business — something no new practice can afford. We have made repeated calls, sent countless emails, and asked for urgent assistance. Every single time, we are told our issue will be “escalated,” yet nothing actually happens. No follow-up. No timeline. No ownership. Just constant deflection and empty promises. We were assigned a case manager, but getting a response is nearly impossible. Calls go unanswered. Messages are not returned. When we do manage to get through, we’re told that her manager hasn’t responded to her for weeks. That is not an excuse — it’s a complete breakdown of accountability. For an established practice, this would be frustrating. For a brand-new office just trying to survive its first month, it is crippling. We trusted Dental Exchange to handle a critical part of our revenue cycle, and they have failed us at the worst possible time. This level of disorganization, lack of communication, and inaction is unacceptable. We would strongly caution any new practice against relying on them. We are left trying to repair the damage while receiving little to no meaningful support. We will be exploring other options. 2.27.26 Update - we were finally able to get a manager involved and seems our claims are now being sent.

We have been dealing with Dental Exchange for the past several months, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. For the last four months, our dental insurance claims have not been submitted to the insurance companies, which has severely impacted our practice. Despite multiple attempts to get help, we have made little to no progress. The support team seems completely unprepared to address the issue. Every time we reach out, we’re told that our case will be "escalated" to another department, but no one ever follows up or provides updates. It feels like they’re just passing the buck. Even worse, we supposedly have a case manager who refuses to call us back. When we are finally able to speak to her, she claims that her manager hasn’t responded to her emails from over a month ago, leaving us completely in the dark about the status of our case. Because of their lack of support, we've been operating at approximately 50% of our normal profits over the last four months. This situation has not only been frustrating but has directly impacted our business's bottom line. In short, Dental Xchange has been an absolute disaster to work with. Their customer service is non-existent, and they’ve proven unable to resolve our issues. We would not recommend them to anyone, as we’re still left trying to fix the problem they’ve caused without any real help from them.
