ABA Rank is an independent directory and ranked index of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) software, service vendors, and clinics, covering categories like practice management, billing, staffing, and marketing partners. We're looking for an SEO Content Writer to create and optimize content that helps our directory and toolkit pages rank well and serve the buyers and providers who rely on our index.
What you'll do
- Research and write SEO-focused articles, category pages, and guides related to ABA providers, software, and services
- Optimize existing pages for search intent, keyword targeting, and on-page SEO best practices
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align content with site structure and ranking categories
- Conduct keyword research and competitive content analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities
- Write clear, accurate copy for directory listings, category descriptions, and toolkit explainer pages
- Monitor content performance using SEO and analytics tools, and iterate based on results
What we're looking for
- Proven experience writing SEO-optimized content, ideally for a content-heavy or directory-style website
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals: keyword research, meta tags, internal linking, content structure
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex or technical topics clearly
- Comfort working with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar)
- Ability to manage multiple content projects and meet deadlines independently
- Familiarity with healthcare, behavioral health, or B2B software content is a plus
Nice to have
- Experience writing for a marketplace, directory, or review-based platform
- Basic understanding of structured data or content formatting for AI/LLM readability
