ABA Rank is looking for a Product Designer (UI/UX) to help shape the experience of our directory, ranking tools, and matching platform used by ABA clinics, vendors, and individual practitioners. You'll work closely with product and engineering to design interfaces that make it easy for buyers to search, filter, and compare providers, and for providers to manage their profiles and understand their standing on the Index.
What you'll do
- Design end-to-end user flows for search, filtering, comparison, and provider profile experiences across web
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for new features and improvements to existing ones
- Partner with product managers and engineers to scope work, validate feasibility, and ship polished experiences
- Conduct or synthesize user research and usability feedback to inform design decisions
- Maintain and evolve a shared design system to ensure visual and interaction consistency across the product
- Present design work and rationale clearly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into iterations
What we're looking for
- A portfolio demonstrating strong UI craft and UX problem-solving for web applications
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma) for wireframing, prototyping, and design systems
- Experience designing for data-heavy interfaces such as search, filtering, dashboards, or directories
- Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and responsive/web accessibility standards
- Ability to work independently, take ambiguous problems, and turn them into clear design solutions
- Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting and defending design decisions to cross-functional partners
Nice to have
- Experience designing marketplace, directory, or two-sided platform products
- Familiarity with basic front-end concepts (HTML/CSS) to collaborate closely with engineers
- Experience designing review, rating, or trust-and-safety related interfaces
