Council on Accreditation (COA) is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body that evaluates and certifies human service and behavioral health organizations based on rigorous standards of quality and organizational effectiveness.
Founded in 1977 by the Child Welfare League of America and Family Service America, COA accredits the full continuum of child welfare, behavioral health, and community-based social services. The organization currently accredits more than 2,200 programs and organizations across the United States and Canada, serving more than 7 million individuals and families. COA's standards framework applies to over 125 program types and covers approximately 47 standards addressing administrative operations, financial management, and service delivery quality.
Behavioral health agencies, child welfare organizations, and social service providers pursue COA accreditation to demonstrate compliance with evidence-based practices, meet state contract requirements, and validate their commitment to organizational quality. The accreditation process evaluates an organization's policies, procedures, staffing, and service outcomes against established benchmarks.
Based in New York, COA operates as an internationally recognized accrediting body. The organization has also been recognized by the U.S. Department of State for its role in accrediting services related to inter-country adoption. Recent organizational developments include integration with broader social services initiatives aimed at strengthening the nonprofit human services sector.

Americas Society I’m blown away by the amazing concerts and exhibitions at the Americas Society! The cultural events are always top-notch, and the venue itself is stunning. If you're a fan of music, art, or exploring different cultures, this is the place to be. Highly recommend! Would you like me to make any changes?
Initially went to the gallery and it was closed; but I went back (07/09) and the show was just great! very good selection of pieces to explain the painter's time line and work. If you have time also check the video in the back of the gallery, very informative. The people at the front desk, were very attentive and welcoming. Thank you
Very very small. About 2,000 square feet. And the art is temporary. This time I went I was very disappointed. I was expecting a lot more. They ask you to take a 30 second Survey to see if you have covid. It’s like 5 questions. So that’s kinda nice. But still it needs improvement.
I had the privilege to attend the concert on the 10th of January with violinist Maestro Baldini and pianist Rossi. The performance was simply astonishing. I felt transported to beyond that place and moment and did enjoy every single beat of that marvelous art work by both musicians. Words fail to describe further. Thank you, sponsors, for the event. Keep up...
Well known place for conferences, exhibitions, business meetings everything related to las "Americas"
