What service modalities does The Birchtree Center offer?
The Birchtree Center offers clinic-based, in-home, school-based, community-based, and telehealth services.
The Birchtree Center is a nonprofit organization providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and related behavioral challenges across southern New Hampshire, southern Maine, and northern Massachusetts. The organization operates a year-round special education day school exclusively serving students with autism aged 2–21, as well as an Outreach Program delivering ABA services in homes, schools, and community settings. Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians work collaboratively with families, school staff, and community partners to build skills and promote independence across diverse environments. The Birchtree Center was founded in 2002 and is designated a School of Excellence by the National Association of Special Education Teachers. The organization distinguishes itself through comprehensive, evidence-based programming that spans early intervention through adulthood, with particular emphasis on transition planning and community integration for older students. Family support and education are core components of service delivery. Behavior consultants work with families to develop effective strategies for managing daily challenges and strengthening relationships. The organization provides remote consultation services to clients outside its primary service region and does not bill health insurance directly.
The Birchtree Center delivers individualized ABA therapy in a center, in the home, in schools, in the community and via telehealth, built around each child’s goals.

My son is doing so much better since he started at birchtree one year ago, he is making progress after years of no progress prior to starting. Im so grateful he is in a amazing school that can help him grow. 10/10 !!!!
My little brother, Jordan Brown, went to this school when he was a kid. Amazing. He loved Erin so much, the teachers treated my baby brother so well. I always worry about him, but always felt safe knowing he was at a good school. Highly recommend this school, please don't traumatize your special need kids by sending them to a normal public school classroom with 22+ "normal" students, please consider Birchtree.
