My kids and I have had nothing but great experiences at CPTWC! We have worked with Natalie & Melissa and they have both been wonderful to work with. They are incredibly detailed during our sessions and do a great job explaining the exercising so we are able to translate the work to our home. I would highly recommend CPTWC to my friends and family!
We had an exceptional experience with Alejandra at CPTWC. As parents new to occupational therapy, we didn't know what to expect, but working with Alejandra and the clinic was truly a game changer for our son. Alejandra was incredibly engaging and collaborative with both our son and us as parents. She provided timely updates and met him exactly where he was at developmentally. She gave us valuable resources to implement at home and at school, ensuring the work done in therapy was well-supported and consistent across all environments. Alejandra was a fierce advocate for our son and was incredibly helpful in communicating with his school to help him get the support he needed. She used a clear and structured process for assessing problem areas, then created a tailored treatment plan that outlined how his progress would be measured and what evidence-based interventions would be incorporated. We've seen significant changes in our son's confidence, and he now has the support systems he needs to thrive. He met all his therapy goals, and working with Alejandra was an enriching and encouraging experience for our entire family. We couldn't recommend her more highly.
My son absolutely thrives here. Amazing school. Aaron is the best teacher we could ask for! And the therapies he receives are top notch. Especially Emerson, Sophie, Molly and Nathalie. We appreciate all of the hard work they all do!
Words cannot express how grateful we are for Chicago Pediatric Therapy, and Melissa in particular. Our pediatrician gave us a list of food therapists when our one-year-old still wasn’t showing any signs of wanting to eat anything except purées. After doing a little research and seeing the positive reviews, I called Chicago Pediatric Therapy and was quickly able to schedule my son an appointment. I appreciated the easy parking inside a covered garage on a cold snowy day which led directly into a cozy facility. All the staff were welcoming, and Melissa instantly connected with Theodore. She gave us very simple tools and techniques our first session that we were able to implement at home. By week one, he was suddenly showing an interest in crunch sticks and crackers, by week two bananas and oatmeal, by week three waffles and grilled cheese sandwiches! We are truly blown away with how quickly she had him going from eating nothing to eating everything. We will miss working with her but are so grateful to her and the entire team for the incredible transformation they helped our son make in a very short amount of time.
The staff is amazing. My daughter's Speech therapist Marlee Cohen has been an incredible help to our daughter. We are so grateful for Ms. Marlee! When we first started, our daughter was frustrated because she was unable to speak in sentences, she wasn't very articulated and her confidence was low. Our daughter struggled with her 'f' 'r' 'v' 'b' 's' sounds. Ms. Marlee made every session feel like a fun game, and her confidence has blossomed. Our daughter speaks more fluently and its become easier to communicate with her in both english and spanish. She is now self-correcting and has made incredible progress. We were also impressed with how she involved us as parents, providing strategies we could use at home. We highly recommend her!"
